The number of foreign visitors arriving in Turkey plunged 59.4% year-on-year in October to 1.74 million, data from the tourism ministry showed on Monday, as the economy continued to struggle to recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
In the first ten months of the year, the number of foreign visitors fell 72.5% to 11.2 million, the data showed.
